Spark Self Storage (“Spark”, “we”) operates this website. Until our contact details are published, the quickest way to reach us is the registration form.
What we collect
When you register your interest we collect the information you enter in the form: your full name, email address, phone number (optional), preferred town or postcode, whether your storage is personal or business, the container size you’re interested in, when you might need storage, any additional information you add, and whether you opted in to other occasional news.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry.
- To send you the launch updates you asked for, including our Yorkshire location, opening details and pricing when available.
- To understand the demand and container sizes people are interested in, so we can plan our first site.
- If you separately opted in, to send other occasional Spark news. This is optional and you can withdraw it at any time.
We do not sell your information or share it for unrelated marketing.
Legal basis
We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries about our launch, and on your consent for any optional marketing that isn’t related to your enquiry.
Where it is stored
Registrations are stored in a secure hosted database used only by this website’s server. The information is not published or readable from the public website, and access is limited to Spark and the technical providers that host the site and database on our behalf.
How long we keep it
We keep registrations of interest while we are preparing to open and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can follow up. If you ask us to delete your details, we will do so.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict our use of it, and to withdraw consent for optional marketing. Contact us and we will help. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Before publication we need to add the registered legal entity name, company registration number and registered office address, a public contact email address, the retention period, and the name or contact point responsible for data protection enquiries.
